Rolling Steel Service Doors

Rolling Steel Doors are metal slatted doors that roll up to store in a coil above the opening. They are used to provide security against entry or weather protection at exterior and interior openings in industrial, commercial, institutional and other buildings.

Our rolling steel service doors are available as insulated or non-insulated doors.

Non-Insulated Rolling Service Doors

Sizes: 30′ wide, 30′ high, standard construction. Large openings, up to 50′ wide and 40′ high, are available.

Operation: Motors, chain, hand-crank or push-up designs based on size, weight or frequency of operation.

Rolling door

Usage:

  • Standard construction for ≤ 20 cycles per day in low- to moderate-traffic areas.
  • High-cycle construction for > 20 cycles daily, such as parking garages or sally ports.
  • Fast-acting doors (up to 2 ft/s) for high-traffic openings or strict airflow/temperature control (more than twice the speed of typical doors).

Insulated Rolling Service Doors

Sizes: 30′ wide, 30′ high standard construction. Large Openings to 38′ wide, 40′ high.

Operation: Motors, chain, or hand-crank designs based on size, weight or frequency of operation.

Rolling Steel Door Render

Usage:

  • Standard construction (≤ 20 cycles/day) for low-traffic openings.
  • High-Cycle Construction (> 20 cycles/day) for high-traffic sites such as parking garages.
  • Insulated Rolling Steel Doors are recommended for exterior openings where maintaining different temperatures on each side of the door is desirable.

Rolling Steel Fire Doors

Coiling Fire Doors

Coiling Fire Doors are rated physical fire barriers that protect wall openings from the spread of fire. They provide automatic closing in the event of fire detection with governed speed control. Fire doors are also designed for daily use to provide security and access control. Begley offers a complete line of labelled rolling doors for protection in wall openings where rated doors are required by building codes and for insurance purposes.

Sizes: 30′ wide, 30′ high standard construction. Large Openings up to 50′ wide, 40′ high and up to 1200 square feet.

Mounting: Face of wall or between jambs configurations in both interior and exterior walls. Approved wall types for the mounting of fire doors include masonry or structural steel jambs.

M100 FireGard Closing Systems

  • For any application where mechanical testing and resetting are impractical or not desired.
  • Use where fire doors are installed within pedestrian thoroughfares.
  • Use with fire-rated units in recessed applications.
  • For units in areas susceptible to frequent power outages.

M100 Closing Systems offer the following benefits:

  • Automatic resetting of the automatic closing system yields dramatic savings for building owners in testing and resetting costs as well as minimized opening downtime.
  • M100 systems are directly wired for activation by fire alarm systems, local detectors or power failure without requiring connection to a separate alarm interface or a fusible link release device.
  • Eliminate mechanical spring release and complicated resting and resetting, especially on recessed and larger doors.
  • Safe, controlled, automatic closing speed will not exceed 12″ per second.
  • Can be applied consistently on fire door, insulated fire door, counter fire door and SmokeShield® products.
  • UL Certification allows Cornell to retrofit M100 motor, chain and crank operators to most manufacturers’ fire doors while maintaining the door’s listing agency ratings.
